Good old-fashioned email support has come to the rescue of Chris, a passionate gamer with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, who was finding it difficult to press all the buttons on his PS3 controller.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re unable to carry out assessments in person at the moment so our specialist team are using a range of online methods, such as email and video calls. They provided Chris and his family with targeted advice and the loan of a carefully chosen equipment setup that had the best potential to restore access to the games he loved. The loan included a Xbox Adaptive Controller, along with two small switches which were attached to his wheelchair headrest as an alternative way of easily accessing the L3 and R3 buttons.<\/p>\n

As a result, he\u2019s able to enjoy Ark: Survival Evolved and Minecraft on his PC again thanks to a setup that his father describes as \u201cA godsend for Chris and his sanity.\u201d<\/p>\n
