Let’s hear it for Jimmy Daly this weekend as he takes on a first-time 10k challenge after we helped his son Rian to play games.\u00a0He\u2019ll be taking part in the Oulton Park Running Grand Prix this coming Sunday, and as a first-time runner he admits it\u2019s going to be a massive personal challenge.<\/p>\n

\u201cI only started running in February,\u201d he said \u201cI started by walking, then decided to go for the Couch to 5k programme. Now I\u2019m going to try for 10k.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI chose to run for SpecialEffect because they helped my son Rian to play games more easily on the Xbox. He only has the use of one hand, so he was assessed by the specialist team at SpecialEffect, who\u2019ve organised the loan of a large control pad and a one-handed joystick.\u201d<\/p>\n
