SpecialEffect&#8217;s hybrid event <em>10K Your Way<\/em> raised an incredible \u00a350,000 in July for our vital work, thanks to our awesome fundraisers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The month was filled with amazing walks, runs, livestreams and challenges both in person and online.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;d love to be able to mention everyone who took part in the event but this would be longest web post ever, so here&#8217;s a snapshot of what our amazing community got up to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>BeetleJude<\/strong> went crafty with their 10K Your Way concept, creating &#8220;10 K&#8221; pictures to do with the Elite Dangerous universe! <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/416gLPz\">http:\/\/bit.ly\/416gLPz<\/a><\/li>\n<li>SpecialEffect service user, <strong>Sam<\/strong>, pushed an awesome 10K on his wheelchair treadmill! <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/45NMJCH\">https:\/\/bit.ly\/45NMJCH<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>The Round Table<\/strong> came together and helped raise over \u00a32,000, supporting their president Jon in his efforts to walk 10,000 steps every single day, and 10K on the last day of July! <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/4mzzpHK\">https:\/\/bit.ly\/45vzTrn\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>RKG<\/strong> took to the streets for the London 10K dressed as Dark Souls characters and raised a STUNNING \u00a321,000! <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/4ox9T7F\">https:\/\/bit.ly\/4ox9T7F<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once again, a huge thank you to everyone who got involved, and <em>10K Your Way<\/em> will be back in July 2026!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s 10k but not as we know it!
