She\u2019d been playing with a two-handed accessible controller setup, but her left side was becoming increasingly uncomfortable to use.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sheree had seen how we were supporting gamers with accessible setups so she contacted us to see if we could help. Our specialist team met with her over a video assessment call to look at her gaming abilities and, as a result, they suggested taking her left hand out of play altogether.<\/p>\n<p>They loaned Sheree a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.evilcontrollers.com\/ps5-one-handed-controller\">one-handed PS5 controller<\/a> with the left buttons shifted onto the right grip, and a securely mounted chin-controlled joystick that mimics the left joystick. They also sent her equipment to secure the joystick and the controller in comfortable and stable positions.<\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s since emailed us to say that she\u2019s quickly getting used to the setup &#8211; and spent six hours enjoying Assassins Creed: Valhalla. \u201cWhere there\u2019s a will there\u2019s a way! I couldn\u2019t have done this without the help of the team at SpecialEffect,\u201d she wrote <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/v\/1CVhjxgqfx\/\">in Facebook post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Our team have since added an adaptor to the setup so that she can play Mario games and Zelda: Breath of the Wild on her Nintendo Switch using the same tech, and it\u2019s great to know that Sheree\u2019s enjoying an even greater range of games more comfortably.
